As the most ‘seasoned’ of the Elders, Curtis Carson is loved and respected by all. It was when he was stationed here in Killeen, Texas from his home of Washington, D.C. that his life changed indefinitely. He now has served our county 28 years via the United States Army, received numerous awards, and is still serving as a soldier for our country.
His ordinance as Elder on January 27, 2011 did not mark the beginning of his calling, but its continuation. During his lifetime as a soldier he has led many to Christ, counseled, and ministered the gospel. In addition to his excellent leadership, he is a husband to his wife Katonya, and father of three children.
